Structure of the School

Due to its responsibility for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) undergraduate degree program, it forms a School rather than the more usual academic organisational unit, Department, which is responsible for single disciplines (or subjects).

The School of Pharmacy is responsible for a number of specific subjects, which are called units , and each is given a unique unit code eg CSA155 is Pharmaceutical Science and Practice 1A.

There is an Advisory Committee which has broad University and professional membership and oversees the teaching activities of the School.

The elected President of the Tasmanian Pharmacy Students' Association (TAPS) represents the student body.
