Pharmaceutics

The School is undertaking a variety of formulation projects, some with industry collaboration. Consultancy services are offered in the area of assay method development for new formulations.

Broad areas of research include the following:
Applications of cyclodextrins in pharmaceutics including solubility enhancement, solid dosage form dissolution and stability enhancement
Novel formulation of effervescent tablets
Peptide analyses in plasma
Application of analytical techniques to veterinary formulation development
Investigations into stability of low molecular weight heparin solutions
