The 2009 Australasian Pharmaceutical Science
Association Conference will be held at:
Wrest Point Convention Centre, Hobart, Tasmania
Wednesday 9 - Friday 11 December 2009 |

Out of the Wilderness, the Conference theme, encompasses the changes and innovations occurring within the pharmacy profession, and the significant research advances that will allow us, and future generations, to meet the scientific and healthcare challenges that we currently face.
The Conference will be supported by a
pre-Conference program
on Tuesday 8 December, involving workshops and hands-on demonstrations of the applications of information technology in pharmacy education, plus the annual APSA Education Forum.
The Organising Committee is planning a stimulating program of plenary sessions, symposia, paper presentations and poster sessions, with several major international speakers already accepting invitations to present. The program will focus on two broad streams:
Pharmaceutical Science |
including applications of separation science in drug discovery, new frontiers in drug discovery, and innovation in drug development and delivery; and |

| Pharmacy Practice and Education |
the interface between implementation research and practice, crossing boundaries with models of collaborative and integrative care, pharmacy practice in the Australian wilderness, and more... |
